Children’s Ministry at SPC
Children’s Sunday School Class – Ages 2+ meets in the church nursery.
All children are invited to our children Sunday school class. We pray that we are planting the seeds of Jesus’ presence and power in their lives and that each child knows how much they are loved by Him. Jesus is our forever friend. We pray that the children, “Trust in the Lord with all their hearts.” (ref. Proverbs 3:5)
Typical schedule:

We incorporate the concepts of giving, helping others, and loving others like Jesus loves us as the foundation for our lessons and teachings. The children have participated in special offerings and love taking food to the blessing boxes around town to love others like Jesus.
We plan intentional and meaningful Christ-centered events throughout the year that focus on the children of our church family and the community.
Events include:
- Palm Sunday/Easter Celebration – Breakfast for children and families that explains the Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and Easter Story.
- VBS/Summer Outreach Event
- Fall Cookout/Hayride with Pumpkin Painting and S’Mores at Pleasant Grove
- Christmas Prayer over the Children and Their Families with Joy Gift Luncheon
